    1. Application Review

      We check out your CV to see if your experience matches (only applicants with a portfolio will be considered)

    2. Hiring Manager Interview

      An in depth call to better understand your experience. This is also where we go through your portfolio together and you select which case study to present

    3. Collaboration + Take Home Design Exercise

      A huge part of design is being able to collaborate well with your peers. You’ll spend 1.5 hrs collaborating on a simple design brief with the Senior Product Designer (this session is focused on brainstorming and UX).

      After the session, you’ll take home what you worked on together, continue the UX/research and design the UI. The end result is piecing them together into a presentation (it’s up to you how long you spend on the this)

    4. Product Team Interview

      Presenting your designs and process to the Product Team. We don’t expect a polished design output but more of a work in progress

    5. Final Interview

      This is typically with one of our management team

    6. Offer

      An interview with our engineering team to learn more about you and your coding skills including a short coding exercise

    3. Code Submission

      If you do not have any suitable code to submit we can supply you with a take home assignment

    4. Technical Interview

      An interview with the engineering team with a coding exercise to further assess your coding skills

      With our Product Management team

    6. Offer

      An intro call to get to know you better

      An interview with our Business Development team to test financial knowledge

      This is with the Business Development team and includes a presentation to show us your skills and how you think

Life At Origin

4-day offsite in Morocco in 2023. A mix of work and play! We had presentation workshops and in-house guest speakers, did team building exercises, quad biking, dinner in a desert camp and much more

We love the fun but we’re also about winning awards. We are humbled and honoured to be selected again, for the 3rd time in a row, by our clients and customers, as the technology platform that is adding the most value to the primary debt capital markets. Origin has won two awards in 2023: Best Technology Platform for the SSA Primary Bond Markets and Best Technology Platform for the FIG Primary Bond Markets.

You’ll see us working our wit and charm at conferences too. Our Business Development team had a fantastic couple of days meeting clients, partners, and peers at the Euromoney #Global Borrowers Conference in London.

Hackathons are held every year where everyone — engineers, designers, product managers, business development get together in teams to pick our brains for a full on 3-day hackathon where we try to solve, design and build a workable prototype. This year’s theme was AI and here are our winners (+ their prizes)!

Christmas Party in 2022 was filled with steak and fondue for dinner, followed by an evening of creativity and fun! Fair to say there was a friendly competition during the painting class.. and a lot of laughs during rounds of Secret Santa

Here at Origin, Halloween is probably what we take seriously the most (other than work of course)! Year after year, we’ll have teams with themes and we’ll go out and celebrate a spooky evening. In the past, we have done hijango and a haunted hospital tour to name a few

We’re a dog-friendly office too! Your pupparoo is more than welcome as long as they’re a good boi or gurl. Here’s little Cornichon who frequently visits!
